To support the cultivation of international Chinese language education talents and boost the development of international Chinese language education at Sichuan Normal University, people from all walks of life and related institutions are welcome to recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further study and pursue degrees in international Chinese language education at Sichuan Normal University.

一、资助对象

I. ELIGIBILITY

1.非中国籍人士;

1. Be a Non-Chinese citizen;

2.对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律法规和学校的规章制度；

2. Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;

3.身心健康，品学兼优;

3. Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;

4.有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作;

4. Be interested in Chinese language education and related work;

5.年龄为 16-35 周岁（统一以2026年9月1日记）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过 25 周岁。

5. Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2026. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese language teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor's degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.

奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、综合医疗保险费和生活费。其中生活费标准为：本科生、一学年和一学期研修生为2500元人民币/月；国际中文教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月；国际中文教育专业博士生为3500元人民币/月。学校提供免费双人间宿舍。

The scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and living allowance. The monthly living allowance standards for undergraduates, one-year, and one-semester study program students is RMB 2,500 per person; that for Master's students in international Chinese language education is RMB 3,000 per person; and that for doctoral students in international Chinese language education is RMB 3,500 per person. The university provides free double rooms.

申请者须有孔院或者其他推荐机构的推荐信。四川师范大学具有推荐资质。

Applicants shall submit a reference letter from a Confucius Institute or other eligible Recommending Institutions. Sichuan Normal University is an eligible recommender.

2026年3月1日起，申请者可登录“中外语言交流合作中心”网站（cis.chinese.cn）“国际中文教师奖学金”栏目申请国际中文教师奖学金。

Starting from March 1, 2026, applicants can apply for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship by logging into the column "International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship" on the website of the "Center for Language Education and Cooperation" (cis.chinese.cn).

流程：登录奖学金网站；在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与接收院校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按接收院校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

Process: Applicants may log into the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website; submit application materials online; and track the application progress, review comments, and scholarship evaluation results. The successful applicant must confirm with the Host Institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print the scholarship certificate online, and register at the Host Institution on the designated date as per the Letter of Admission.

五、报名截止日期（以北京时间为准）

V. APPLICATION DEADLINES (Beijing Time)

1.2026年9月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年5月15日

1. For programs commencing in September 2026: Applicants must complete their applications by May 15, 2026.

2.2027年3月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年10月31日

2. For programs commencing in March 2025: Applicants must complete their applications by October 31, 2026.

六、其他

MISCELLANEOUS

1. 在职中文教师

在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。

1. In-Service Chinese Language Teachers

In-service Chinese language teachers applying for any scholarship category may submit proof of employment and a recommendation letter from their employer. These applicants will be given priority over equally qualified candidates.

2.一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。

Generally, the One-Semester Study Program and One-Year Study Program do not admit applicants who have received a similar scholarship within the past three years. 

3.相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询目标接收院校。

Please consult the target Host Institution regarding specific professional training plans and teaching curricula. 

4.申请者须了解目标接收院校的具体招生条件及报名截止时间，按照相关规定提交申请材料。

Applicants are responsible for understanding the specific admission

requirements and deadlines of their target Host Institution and must submit materials according to relevant regulations.

5.学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

Degree students are subject to an annual assessment. For details, please refer to the Measures for the Annual Assessment of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.  

6. 相关入学等事宜，请及时联系接收院校。

For enrollment-related inquiries, please contact the Host Institution promptly.

7. 入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、

休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

Scholarship eligibility will be revoked for students who fail the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school prematurely, fail to register on time without permission, or suspend their studies.

Appendixes: List of Application Materials for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

一、与所有申请者有关的证明材料

I. For all applicants

1．护照照片页扫描件。

1. A scanned copy of the passport photo page.

2.HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。

2 A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK/HSKK tests (within the two-year validity).

3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信。

3. A reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institution.

二、与学历生有关的证明材料

II. For degree program applicants

4.提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。

4. A certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript.

5. 国际中文教育专业博士须提供两封相关专业领域内的副教授（含）以上或具有相当专业技术职称专家的推荐信。提供中文个人陈述（含对报考学科专业的认识、拟定研究计划，3000 字左右）。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先资助。

5. Applicants of the Scholarship for a Doctor's Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide two reference letters from professors or associate professors or experts with equivalent professional titles in relevant fields, as well as a 3,000-word personal statement written in Chinese (including knowledge of the intended area of study and research proposal). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.

6. 国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。

6. Applicants of the Scholarship for a Master's Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide two reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China.

三、在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信

III. In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a reference letter from the employer.

四、未满 18 周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件

IV. Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

五、申请者还须提供接收院校要求的其他证明材料

V. Applicants shall provide additional documents as required by the Host Institutions.
